You should be able to put 2 fingers inside the neck opening for the correct fit. Please do not size up to the next size until your child meets the weight requirement, for safety reasons.

The day my husband and I brought our son home from the hospital, we were exhausted and terrified (first child, unsurprisingly). It happened to be during one of the coldest stretches in NYC history — and we didn’t realize a window had been left cracked open when we left for the hospital. Our apartment very cold, and took hours to warm up with ancient, pre-war radiators. We had been gifted the “Swaddle Box” from BabyList, which included one of the ergoPouch Cocoon Swaddles. Even though it was the 1.0 TOG version, we were able to layer our son, get him zipped up in the swaddle, and comfortable way faster than using the wrap method. I bought 3 more of the same swaddles at 4am that same night. I even sent an extra thank you text to my cousin who bought the Swaddle Box for us! Easy to use, snug and secure, and, bonus, ergoPouch makes it easy to figure out the correct TOG rating for room temperature. Definitely plan to continue purchasing from ergoPouch!
