Using the Side Zip Premium Sleeping Bag for safe infant sleep

The Side Zip Premium Sleeping Bag is designed with your baby's safety and comfort in mind. To ensure safe sleep, always place your baby on their back when you put them down to sleep. Whether your baby is in a cot or bassinet, make sure that the sleep space is free from loose bedding, pillows, and toys. The Side Zip Sleeping Bag serves as a replacement for blankets, reducing the risk of your baby's face being covered while keeping them at a comfortable temperature throughout the night.

The Side Zip Sleeping Bag is perfect for infants who have started rolling. If your baby can roll onto their tummy and lift their head, the Side Zip Sleeping Bag is an ideal choice for them.

When selecting a Side Zip Sleeping Bag, be sure to choose the appropriate TOG rating based on your room temperature and ensure that the bag fits properly according to your baby's size and weight. The sleeping bag should be well fitted around the neck and armholes, with enough room for one or two fingers (of yours) to fit in the neckhole. Avoid using a sleeping bag that is too large; please don't size up. If you have any doubts or questions, please reach out to our friendly customer service team - cs@ergoPouch.com.au

Size Guide

Side Zip Premium Sleeping Bag
Our Sleeping Bag is a baby and toddler sleeping bag designed for arms-out sleepers (usually from around 3 months of age). The Sleeping Bag has a slim-fit, stretchy design similar to that of a swaddle and is recommended as baby's 'first sleeping bag' after the swaddling phase is over. Please use your child's weight and height and height to find the most appropriate and safe size for them. A sleeping bag should be well fitted around the neck and the armholes to avoid your baby slipping through. It should also be bell shaped in the bottom to allow for easy leg movement. Please do not size up to the next size until your child meets the weight requirement, for safety reasons.
