Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic Digital Marketer who loves using insights to plan and execute robust digital solutions and drive commercial results. You will join an exceptional team, have an eagerness to learn, be a critical thinker and natural problem-solver, KPI-oriented and an effective team player. Working as a channel specialist in a larger marketing team, the main deliverables for the role are to:

  • Oversee digital paid media (SEM, Programmatic, Display) Write and implement content marketing through blogs and campaign landing pages on the website
  • Plan, implement and manage omnichannel marketing through our omnichannel platform, including email communications
  • Manage the affiliate marketing program, and marketplaces
  • Drive data tracking, analysis and use insights to create further growth opportunities and commercial results online
  • Assist the marketing team with ad-hoc tasks for photoshoots and new season sampling
  • Open and collaborative relationship with rest of marketing team to ensure all campaigns are holistic, complimentary and drive an effective customer and brand experience across all customer touchpoints
  • Be customer-first, and use customer needs to drive marketing activities and company growth Be familiar with and apply leading tools and programmes to gather & extract Data and insights
  • Be familiar with the concepts of User Experience and apply these to your work

Key responsibilities

Digital Marketing

  • Plan for and conduct research, data analysis and insights gathering
  • Use insight to inform KPI planning and strategic objective and goal setting for paid media and email channels
  • Working with the marketing and creative teams to craft digital solutions for paid media and email that are commercially sound and meet objectives and revenue KPIs
  • Work with other team members and input into holistic marketing campaigns that meet customer needs across channels
  • Manage digital agency in the planning, activation and management of paid campaigns through digital advertising platforms such as Google AdWords or Facebook Power Editor
  • Brief and work with graphic designers to create assets for paid media that meet KPIs Activation, management and optimisation of campaigns and communications through omnichannel CRM platform, including management of platform logic and automation and customer database management
  • Working with the Marketing and eCommerce teams to ensure the website is updated in a timely manner for product launches, sales, campaigns, promotions and other such events on the marketing calendar
  • Working with our eCommerce team to ensure proper campaign tagging, tracking, reporting and analysis.
  • Analysing the performance of inbound marketing and working with the eCommerce team to improve landing pages, customer journeys and conversion from paid media and email campaigns.
  • Campaign results analysis and recommendations for optimisation that deliver against KPIs and marketplace management
  • Work with Marketing Lead and eCommerce teams to scope and implement an affiliate marketing solution and programme
  • Actively manage affiliate marketing platform and partners
  • Work with eCommerce team to manage 3rd party marketplaces on Amazon and any other channels that may arise
  • Drive data tracking, analysis and use insights to create further growth opportunities and commercial results online

Team Engagement & Knowledge Sharing

  • Collaborate with the rest of the marketing team to ensure marketing communications and campaigns are seamless, holistic and create an effective customer and brand experience for the customer
  • Work with Marketing Lead and other Digital Marketing specialists to update and maintain marketing calendar and program of work across paid media, email, omnichannel channels
  • Contribute to the regular collection of data, trends and insights that are business and customer relevant
  • Champion the assimilation of new trends and technology for digital marketing
  • Work with Marketing Lead to identify and recommend ways of creating or improving team processes, procedures or templates that will improve team efficiency and effectiveness

Prior Experience, Proven Expertise & Qualifications

  • Digital Marketing - 5+ years Digital Marketing experience
  • Brands - 5+ years Digital Marketing (pure play and/or integrated) with Retail brands
  • Knowledge - Thorough understanding of Digital media landscape; technologies, media buying and management platforms, etc
  • Data - Proven experience in research and data analysis; Google analytics qualifications Media - experience in paid media planning in digital, and campaign management
  • CRM - experience in planning, creating and managing automated marketing campaigns through omnichannel platforms (Dot Digital an advantage)
  • Content, Social – co-creating Marketing campaign content; working with enterprise level content management systems and platforms (M2 and Dot Digital an advantage); familiar with Social media strategies
  • Technology – technology and trouble shooting skills with a variety of IT platforms including Google, Microsoft, Mobile, Social media tools, and experience in CRM & ERP platforms. Knowledge of HTML an advantage.
  • Formal qualifications – Business, Marketing or Communications preferred

Successful Applicant

The successful individual will ideally possess similar experience with Brand / Product based organisations within Retail / Wholesale sectors. Prior experience within the Infant-Baby industry (Maternity Sector) is advantageous, and relevant qualifications will be favourably looked upon.
