Everyday Parents Review the 2.0 TOG Pyjamas
We enlisted 4 parents who were after warmer sleepwear for their cubs for camping and colder climates, they were tasked with trialling our new 2.0 TOG Pyjamas and providing their feedback. Here is what they had to say. Spoiler: it's a game-changer.
Milka 2-4 years-old
"First thing I noticed was the thickness of the 2.0 TOG pyjamas and I instantly felt comforted knowing that my son (will be 3 in June) would have the appropriate clothing on while he slept. He has refused a sleeping bag since December and has blankets in his cot but doesn't always sleep under them. The fabric is comfortable - so much so it's hard to get him out of them. I also love that the dragonfly design is unisex so I can save these pyjamas for when my daughter grows into them."
Tala 4-6 years old
"I found that these pyjamas meant that my eldest didn't wake up cold, she slept through the night and under a blanket was perfectly comfortable in the room. The print is adorable and very loved by both girls in the household. Washing and drying was easy, the pyjamas dried quickly which I didn't expect being 2.0 tog but it meant I could wash and dry in one day in the cool weather.
Overall would recommend these pyjamas to everyone with toddlers or pre-schoolers but also suggest sizing up if you have a bigger kid."
Hayley 2-4 years old
"Absolutely amazing!!!! Loved that I knew my daughter would stay warm when she went to bed as she is now in a big girl bed and is not a fan of her doona. She loved her flower pjs - would ask to wear them all the time!"
Bree 2-4 years old
"My daughter doesn't like sleeping under covers since transitioning to a big bed. Knowing her pyjamas are tog rated gives peace of mind that she's warm enough. The fabric is so soft and comfy, she loves them. Super easy to clean and wash. I got one in the size that she's currently transitioning into but could've potentially gone one larger for longer use."
When asked about how the Pyjamas helped with the cold as a key sleep challenge. The participants answered...
Milka
"For me, it was comforting to know that my son would be warm enough in these pyjamas and I didnt have to worry about how many layers he needed to wear to be warm enough. He has blankets in his cot and occasionally wore a singlet underneath if I felt he needed it."
Tala
"4 year old didn't leave her bed and stayed warm!"
Hayley
"The warmth was 100%, my daughter never woke up from being cold."
Bree
"Ensured she was warm throughout the night even without covers."
So how does the product compared to what else is on the market?
Milka
"The quality of these pyjamas (thickness, fabric) far outweighs other brands such as Kmart, Target, Bonds etc. I do use Bonds zip suits but they dont have a TOG rating which makes it difficult to know if my son is warm enough."
Tala
"Quality is very high, you can just feel the quality in the stitching and in the material when handling and washing."
Hayley
"The quality is 100% worth it alone and I don't think there is anything else on the market!"
Bree
"Quality feels much more superior. I've never seen another tog rated pyjamas like this."
Seems like the 2.0 TOG Pyjamas were a hit across the board. Want to put it to the test yourself? Shop here.
