The Sleep Suit Bag was our world-first innovation, designed to extend the life of your pouch and convert to leg-separated sleeping. We enlisted four parents to trial it and report back after 2 weeks. The purpose of the trial was to get feedback from parents who haven't yet experienced this product, give it a try, and see how seamlessly it integrates into their sleep routine, especially for toddlers ready to transition to big bed sleeping. We hope this helps you decide if the Sleep Suit Bag is right for you in your little ones sleep journey.

"The ErgoPouch Sleep Bag Suit has quickly become one of our favourite baby sleep essentials. This product stands out for its exceptional quality, thoughtful design, and impressive versatility, making it a must-have for parents seeking comfort and convenience for their little ones.
From the moment we unpacked the ErgoPouch Sleep Bag Suit, it was evident that it is crafted with care. The materials used are soft yet sturdy, providing a cozy and safe environment for our baby. The high-quality zippers and seams have held up wonderfully through numerous washes, showing no signs of wear or tear. This durability ensures that the sleep bag suit can be passed down or reused, adding great value for the price.
In summary, the ErgoPouch Sleep Bag Suit has exceeded our expectations in every way. Its superior quality, comfort, and versatility make it a standout product that we wholeheartedly recommend to other parents. It has provided our baby with restful nights and given us peace of mind, knowing they are sleeping safely and comfortably."

"Thank you for opening my eyes to such a great product! I love the sleep suit and its versatility, I enjoy the ability to have a sleeping bag that can have legs separated. My baby has loved the freedom of tapping her legs at night and you can watch as she does it to fall asleep as she hasn’t previously in other sleeping bag on the market. My little one was struggling with multiple sleeping challenges but the sleep suit seems to alleviate so many, I know that seems crazy one product can do that but it’s been a real game changer. I would definitely recommend for someone who hasn’t tried ergoPouch before to do so. For example, my little one had frequent night wakings throughout the night, I put her Sleep Suit Bag on and she would sleep without any until the early morning.
Additionally the TOG rating has been super helpful and most importantly accurate, previously I’ve seen other branded products just not give the same comfort or have the same warmth provided as the label had stated. However, I have noted the cotton material on the sleep suit seems to look to have little pills of lint within a couple washes."

"As a family we had a few concerns leading into summer. Firstly, that we have no air-conditioning or ceiling fans and as we rent, we can't add them. Also, that the city we moved to is HOT during the summer and FREEZING during winter. Secondly, our baby has started standing and walking along furniture but really wants her pouch to sleep and I'm not a mumma to stand in the way of a good night's sleep.
Let me just say, the Sleep Suit Bag is a fantastic transition aid between pouch and legs and can be changed quickly and easily! As they are already used to their pouch and the legs aren't tight, changing isn't an issue. Sleep continued as normal for us when we did try and change to legs.
We have been using a 0.3 tog bag for the last few weeks and have found, what we have needed to dress her in each night with the guide has been more than enough to keep her comfortable. Once it twice she did wake during the night, and having the quick temperature guide was great just to make sure that she wasn't uncomfortable and it was just teething. The best part is, it's saving us money. As we don't need to be running a fan or air-con for her to sleep comfortably.
We also try to look for sustainable and organic products for our baby when we can, and Ergo pouch Australia's products have us covered. We have managed to wash her bag most bags between naps just to see how the quality holds up, and get dry it dried on the washing line before she goes to sleep again without any issues. The best part, is that the bag is still just as soft as the day it arrived, and that must feel amazing against their sensitive baby skin."

"We recently removed the rail from my son’s cot, so we were looking for suitable bedding. We tried sheets initially but he wound up tangling himself in them and kicking them off every night and I wondered if he was waking up early because he was cold. We tried using the Sleep Suit Bag with legs, not the bag mode, and it was definitely better than the sheet.
We knew he would be warm and that he could also safely get out of the cot and move around. My observation is that the legs and suit overall is a lot baggier than the sleep onesie, which we separately purchased, I think if the only objective is to choose a bedding option with legs, the onesie is probably better as it’s easier to walk around in. If you want something that can also be used as a bag, then the sleep suit bag is the winner!
While we experimented with other brands when my son was first born, we now use only ErgoPouch. I was converted during his first winter as a baby, and he’s now almost 3! My daughter (10 months) will also get some use from the Sleep Suit Bag when she is older."

We asked these parents to also touch specifically on the four-way zipper design and whether they found it handy
"Yes, we loved the 4 way zipper. It was very quick and easy to convert backwards and forwards, when needed in the pram, when we were out and about and when we decided to make the leap during her afternoon nap to see if her sleep would change. We love that the legs still remain a little loose and free for a comfortable relaxed sleep." - Narelle
"This was my favourite feature! This was very handy and really helpful." - Vicky
"The 4-way zipper configuration on the ergoPouch Sleep Bag Suit is an incredibly handy feature that we found useful both during our trial and beyond. The ability to easily convert the sleep bag into a Sleep Suit Bag with legs was particularly beneficial as our baby grew more mobile. The zippers are strategically placed to make the transformation quick and seamless, which is perfect for busy parents." - Emily
"We only used it in the leg mode, and it was very easy to use." - Bianca

At ergoPouch, we really pride ourselves on producing the best quality sleepwear for families. Here's what our fellow parents had to say about the quality and wash of the product
"When we opened the sleep suit bag we loved the feel of the fabric. We washed and line dried it most days between naps as it was a 0.3 TOG without any issue. When placed in the dryer to get her started on the day the sleep suit arrived we had no issues either. The fabric remained just as soft to the touch, a super important feature for babies sleep comfort." - Narelle
"The quality of the ergoPouch Sleep Suit Bag is outstanding. From the first touch, the fabric felt luxuriously soft and breathable, clearly made from high-quality, organic materials. The suit provided a cozy, comforting environment for our baby, striking a perfect balance between softness and durability.
When it came to washing, the Sleep Suit Bag held up exceptionally well. Even after multiple washes, it maintained its shape, softness, and color without any signs of pilling or fading. The zippers and seams stayed intact, showcasing the superior craftsmanship of the product." - Emily
"It was good quality, and I enjoyed the tog rating that was accurate however once washed a few times I could see lint pills." - Vicky
"As high quality as all other products we have tried, including bedding and clothing. I don’t find it as soft on the outside as the onesie, it seems to have a different finish?" - Bianca

We know that the Sleep Suit Bag is the first of it's kind in the market, so we were curious to see how it compares to other brands offerings
"I stopped buying other brands. Initially, I used the arms up swaddle of LTD and tried a few other cheaper bags, but ergoPouch was too good. The biggest benefit is that it was the warmest in winter." - Bianca
"I have found the fabric quality to be more consistent with ergoPouch. It does lose a little of the softness over time, but you were able to follow the guide and baby stay comfortable. My first born had horrendous reflux and her cocoon swaddle was washed and dried, a lot. Then still useable for baby 2 however, it definitely, when I went hunting for it, had not remained as soft.
When I compare the fabric of others brands with the same tog, the fabric has become thin or a heavy non breathable feel to it. Leading to an inconsistent tog rating I felt. She seemed hot with one of them (pure baby) and cold to the point of having to add a sheet when I shouldn't have with another (love 2 dream), and that kind of defeates the purpose of the sleep suit. I didn't even put her in a kmart brand one I was gifted as it felt horrible and not at all something I wanted against her skin." - Narelle
"ergoPouch delivers a superior level of quality that surpasses many other sleep bags and suits. The organic cotton fabric feels softer and more durable compared to synthetic materials often used by other brands." - Emily
"I haven’t seen another competitor with a sleeping bag that is also a suit, however I think the quality is great with the exception of the pills of lint." - Vicky

And finally, would they buy the Sleep Suit Bag again for the retail price?
"Yes - the combination of high-quality materials, thoughtful design, and versatility makes it a worthwhile investment. Whilst I understand there is a barrier to purchasing such items at the moment with the cost of living crisis that we are all experiencing, I would rather pay for the exceptional quality and be reassured that the product I am purchasing won't fail, will last the time and potentially be used for a second child in the future." - Emily
"Yes - this baby loves her sleep and I couldn't believe that she could do any more than she already did. She proved me wrong and extended her naps, some another hour. Plus, when getting her ready for bed she seemed almost excited or she actually fussed for a baby who doesn't, if she was really over tired. I haven't ever seen that. When waking she went back to not crying when she woke, like when she was a newborn. Only did she cry a few times, twice when she was hot in the late afternoon and another when she was cold as the weather had dropped to 20°c.
Now, that's why I do need another, or more . I need a 1.0 TOG for those slightly cooler random days/autumn/spring and for sure a 2.5 and 3.5 TOG for Canberra winters." - Narelle
"No - I would be repurchasing a sale item rather than full price as I know ergoPouch have sales every now and then." - Vicky
"No - I’d purchase the Sleep Onesie instead (which I already have) as it better suits our needs with a 3 year old who now has the option of getting out of his cot." - Bianca
Overall, we had an overwhelmingly positive response to the Sleep Suit Bag trial. Key features like the soft, durable fabric, easy-to-use four-way zipper, and accurate TOG ratings are highlighted as standout benefits from our product testers.
