If this year has taught us anything, it's that community spirit, and the love of family is stronger than ever. One silver lining the pandemic has brought us is the sentiment that 'we're all in this together'.

We've never been more connected to loved ones while feeling so far apart. Through it all, the hard times included, we all worked our bums off to stay indoors and defeat the virus. Very much looking at you, Melbourne (round of applause).

Now more than ever we have to support our local café, retail shop, butcher, florist and so on. So, in a bid to support local small Australian brands, we asked team eP what their little folk have asked for Christmas. And of course, each of them had their fave ergoPouch sleepwear too.

Doin' our bit to support the local Aussie makers in our community.

Less is more for us this holiday season. With a new baby on the way, we want to do our bit for local businesses and the environment. My little 2.5-year-old has his eye on the short sleeve PJs, a train set and drink bottle. I’ve also purchased an adorable bunny from my local store for the baby in my belly. I couldn’t resist it.

Lots of new babies joined us earthside at the start of the year in my friendship group, which means one thing — extra spoiling from auntie B! Each mini will be receiving the must-have Doll Sleeping Bag with a matching Sleep Suit Bag or Jersey Bag. I have a love of toys and have made a conscious effort to shop local. I'm obsessed with this wooden stacker: This cute bowl set with the matching fork and spoon. And finally this adorable bucket hat, swoon.

We're a bit more tech-focused this year; Seb's getting a Garmin vivofit jr and Emme's getting a Vtech camera. I'm heading to my local kids store to gather puzzles, books & arts and crafts. The kids will also be receiving matching PJs in Sage, and I'm going to spoil myself with the Sage Robe.

I found the most heavenly cubby house that I want to buy for Finn for a very special occasion. It’s designed and made in Australia by a creative mama, and it’s oh so sweet and full of endless fun. On his eP list is Short Sleeve Layers, a 0.3 TOG Sheeting Bag and Arm Warmers for when the temperature gets a little cooler at night. And I’m treating myself to a Grey Marle Robe and an A5 print as a bit of a high-5 to myself.

My little girl is ready for her first bike, which I purchased from my local Giant store. She'll also receive a fabulous personised helmet and singing jewellery box from hip kids (we all had one of them when we were little). Their site is full of great gifts for kids. She'll also be receiving a new 0.3 TOG Sleep Suit Bag with the matching Doll Sleeping bag. Zoe lives in the Short Sleeve Layers in summer so I'll be stocking up on them before she moves into preschooler PJs next season.

Amanda, Design

Both of my boys will be receiving a Doll Sleeping Bag. Raff will get the matching PJs and Felix will receive a 0.2 TOG Jersey Bag. I have a few minis to buy for, so I'll order a few eP Gift Vouchers, you can't go wrong! Raff will be gifted these environmentally friendly Liewood drink bottles as he starts school next year. I've also purchased a few matching clothes for the boys from this cute local shop.

Our little guy is only 18 months so doesn't get the concept just yet. However, I've made an effort to source local Aussie made products. H will be getting a new 0.3 TOG Sleep Suit Bag in the Night Sky, a Singlet in Oatmeal and the Window Blockout for our travel adventures. Next on our list is a tower for helping in the kitchen from here. We've also purchased a few books and games from this local online store. Like everyone else, less is more this year. We want to be close to family and enjoy the time together.

We hope each and every one of you have a lovely break with your families. Thank you for the support this year.

Here’s to 2021.

With love,

eP X
